The 2-button controls is very simple, but can you really master it?
The full game has 8 groves (32 stages total). Each enemy fruit has a different effect, and each stage has a different combination of enemy fruits. They may seem weak at first, but when their strengths are combined, they can catch you off guard, so watch out!

Controls

Arrows | WASD | Analog Stick:
Move left/right to dodge (acceleration is VERY sensitive, so tap carefully).
Count number up/down (you can also type the number directly).
Enter | Space | Button 0 (Cross|A|B):
Submit answer. Press the focused button (you can also click/touch).
Backspace | Esc | Button 2 (Square|X|Y) | Button 6 (Start|Menu|+):
Pause/resume, skip story or exit to previous screen.
Shift+F: Toggle fullscreen. F11 and Alt+Enter also work in the app.

Although you may be able to play on a controller, you'll probably prefer using a keyboard or the touchscreen.

Quick Guide

Don't let the enemies hit you! Each enemy fruit has a different ability:

• Apple: Stuns your movement.
• Pear: Weakens you with reduced weight.
• Grapes: Push you towards the edge of the platform.
• Bananas: Separate from the bunch, jumping unpredictably.
• Watermelon: Explodes into heavy slices and tilts the platform.
• Pineapple: Instant KO on touch.

To unlock shop items, get the required amount of stars by beating the stages and increasing your high score. Collect leaves that fall to spend on the shop. You can also restore lives by playing a "count the fruits" minigame in Grove 1.

Installing

On PC, it's highly recommended to use the itch app to install, update and launch the game. Prefer the native executable (available for Windows and Linux). You can also install the Web build (presumed to work in macOS too), which has a free demo (test to see if it works for you) and unlocks the full game after you buy it.

On mobile, playing in the browser is not recommended (it may have issues, or not work at all). Use the Android app instead, which has much better performance and stability. Unfortunately, I don't expect it to work on an iOS browser (let me know if you get it to work at least on Chrome), and I can't make a native app for it either since I don't even have a device to test it with.
